so, i'm up and awake(almost). the reason why i'm still awake is because i'm gonna take the train to gbg in the morning (later this morning i guess you would call it) and it went to a point that i felt it would be easier to stay awake than to go to sleep and try and wake up only a few hours later.waking uplike that is the hardet thing ever! hate it. and i havent been up that long really, only like 16,5 hours, so it's really not that much. i'm beginning to feel abit tired though, but rest assuerd that i'll make it all the way to the centralstation and on the train before i fall asleep. yes. (so sorry for my grammar and my spelling right now, i guess i could have done this in swedish, but i'm not sure it would have gone any better.
so, what has happenes since last time?
thursday we went to a dancehall reggey club, it wes nice. i like. danced my ass off, it was abit like a meatmarket though, but i managed to avoid the slimiest guys and moved away from unwanted hands in unwanted places very succsesfully if you ask me.
friday we had our last lectue before tha holidays and me and sara went infront of our classmates to try to launch some class rules, like; make sure your'e on time, and if you are not, please wait until the break to come in. locked doors? and TURN THE PHONES OFF! how fuckin hard can that one be. we have phones going off in every lecture, every single on. sure the woman who has a small child should get to keep her phone on, but turn of the sound for crying out loud! how hard can it be, its for 45 minutes that you'l have to wait to be constantly reched.
i can say that our idea about locked doors did not go over well....at all. and honestly, i don't know why not. we have an academic quarter, use that. if you are later than that, that's your problem, do not make it mine, please! but well, after that little incident we went for a "fika". it was nice. the evening was spent at farideh's place. it was nice, we made taccos while watchng DKs failed atempt at making pankakes, i was truly amazed by DK and his cooking. i'm sure he was amazed by my ability to drown down 1.5 l coke all b my self. haha
saturday was lazy, but in the evening we went to see sannas christmas gospel consert. it was nice. got abit put out when th preast mentioned the UN child convention (is that what you call it? anyhow, FNs barnkommision) and that it states that every chid has a right to its spirituality and the connection she made with an article that she had read stating that we should't force children to church. that one upset me a lot mostly because she used it as a way of saying that children has a right to be taken to church in order to experience spirituality and religon and that whe have to keep in mind that chidren think of these complicated existensial questions as well.gaahhh! who said anyting about that? if it is stated by tha UN that children has the right to their spirituality, who said anything about that spirituality being found in hristianity? or in any religion at all? they have the right to THEIR spirituality, not their parents or their school teatchers. if they are free to believe, aren't they free not to believe as well?
i think you should let children "slippa kyrkan" as the artiticle said, and if that's not an option then atleast take them to a moske and a tempel and a synagoga as well. give them the opportunity to choose for them selves, give them the right to decide their believes and THEIR spirituality, without the influence of others please. not promoting a specific religion does not make it impossible to discuss the "big questions".
(did that make any sense at all? if not, please keep in mind that its five in the morning)
today was spent packing and not cleaning as my mom wanted me to do before going home over the holidays. not that it looks like a warzone in here as she probably thought. i put some stuff in their right places and i vacuumed, that would have to be enough. i'm abit worried about my flowers though. how on earth are they gonna make it all the way to the nwe year without anyone here to give them water? well, i'll just have to hope thay survive, i really started to like them. especially (i soo know that you do not spell that word like that, but who gives a shit?!) the purple one, it really goes with my plumm coloured wall.
arideh came by, (sara was supposed to come too, but she did not trust skånetrafiken to be able to take her back home again so she stayed home) we watched "killer clowns from outher space" high class movie as usual, it was more entertaining than the tomatoes though. then we whatched some eddie izzard and magnus betner (fun dudes!)
and now i'm here and its little less than two hours until i'm gonna go down and take the bus to malmö centralstation. yeppyepp.
if skånetrafiken hasn't died of the chock all the snow has caused them. it's insane, i thought that GBG had it bad when the snow came, they have nothing on malmö i tell you. it's like noone has even heard of snow before. it's insane, we live in sweden for fucks sake!
(btw, all this snow thats falling all over the world, and not only here? great timing really. "globlal warming! bah, that's no true, just look outside, it's snowing more than in ages! lets polute some more!"
yeyeye
now i'm gonna look through my packin one last time.
